Several layers cover up the real me.
I put on pretences to hide how I feel.
Because I care deeply for other people’s opinions,
I lose touch with my own emotions.
And despite this baseless, everlasting fear,
I desperately seek comfort for my tears
Even though I know that I am praying
For someone who can hear what I’m not saying.
